Project M: First Impressions

24/3/2018

Man, I'm on a Final Fantasy high at the moment. I am playing XIII, which has one of my favourite heroines, finally started XV, which has extreme combat that I adore, watched Advent Children, and have just Started Chrius Core. So when I came across this fan series created by ureshiii, a big name in the MMD community, I thought, why not? She is also making new episodes, so if your interested, click her name, and watch some of her stuff. I recommend the SHIVER MV, it's really good. But enough rambling. This is my first impressions of Project M

Spoilers(Maybe for the VII series of games as well) are here folks, so watch episode 1 right now:
Now Kiss!
This is the reaction of everybody favorite dead hero, Zack Fair when he sees Sephiroth, the one winged angel before he fell from grace(this takes place around the events of Crisis Core), and newcomer Emily pining for each other during a training exercise. For the record, Emily is a girl who surprisingly isn't a female Cloud. Cloud is in this, just not the first episode. Yes I watched episode 2 of this. This is FIRST IMPRESSIONS though. Anyways, Zack tells Emily that they are to meet in a bar, which Sephiroth was going to do, but forgot. This is what happens when you try to romance your students!

Wait, you let Seprough romance you, how were you not Distracted?
And that's it really. Not much happens in this first episode, but I still enjoyed, even if I haven't played Final Fantasy VII. The characters do seem a bit uninteresting besides Zack, but I put that on my lack of FFVII knowledge and this being the first episode. I do like the dialogue, feels very natural towards, especially Zach. I know enough about him to see the writing is accurate, and so is his voice. Speaking of, the voice acting is also really good, and the animation level is great. Especially if your Emily getting shanked in the ass!

Fan Service, Emily. Fan Service.
I am looking forward to this series, and where it could go. However, I would recommend playing Crisis Core before watching this, as it will help you understand certain characters.

Either way, thanks for reading, have a great day/night, share if it not too much trouble for you, and take care.
